Race Matters Inc. cordially invites you to a discussion on health disparities with Dr. Jessica Smith_Kelly, D.O.
Racial health inequities persist among Black, American Indian/Alaska Native, Latinx, and Asian residents across the nation and West Virgina is no exception. The infant mortality rate for black babies in our state is nearly twice as high as that for white babies. And black West Virginians are nearly twice as likely to die of Diabetes as their fellow citizens who are white. A number of factors contribute to these disparities.
Race Matters inc. invites you to learn more by taking part in a discussion on this vital issues with Dr. Jessica Smith-Kelly, D.O. Join us at 5:00 p.m. at the Clingman Center for Community Engagement on Wednesday, December 14, 2022.
